- AcuCare is different
from other network-based organizations because we have chosen alternative
methods for promoting complementary medicine—methods that result in numerous
benefits for our members:
- We don’t
contract to take a percentage of the acupuncturist’s fees. All services
are paid directly from the payor to the provider. This results in one of the
highest reimbursement rates available today.
- No pre-authorization
is needed by the provider from AcuCare.
- We don’t
administer claims. We simply provide a list of qualified providers to various
managed care companies resulting in a direct link between you and the payor.
- We’re owned
and operated by acupuncturists—peers who understand your needs and concerns
and want to help your practice succeed.

rate available today; help members fulfill CEU requirements by offering seminars
which expand your knowledge of western medicine as well as business development
issues; and negotiate preferred rates for services or products frequently used
